- I was a member of the Board of Education for Alpine School district 2011-2012 and am passionate about improving education for our children. I teach computer programming, Internet programming and bioinformatics in the Computer Science Department at Brigham Young University. My research includes sequence alignment, phylogenetic search algorithms, gene regulatory networks, and next generation sequencing algorithms.
